I thought I would let you all know that I just published my first novel. I never intended to be a novel writer, but then again, I never intended to write my how-to oil paint books either. But one day I was reminiscing about my idyllic child hood where my summers were spent with my family at a boys' camp where dad worked as kitchen manager. I got to thinking what it might have been like to be there as a teenager and to have my little summer friend, Pam be there too, this time for the whole summer, rather than just a week. I picked up a pen and just started writing. A year later, I had a YA novel (which as an adult who loves YA books, I think adults would love the book too, especially during these less than idyllic times).
