Lilacs and Cherry Blossoms
This is the first year I have ever painted my very favorite smelling flowers. They remind me of my childhood in upstate NY where lilac bushes were more like lilac trees, or maybe it was because I was so small that they seemed that big. I had a little table and kid size chairs under our lilac tree where I had tea parties, smelling the sweet scent of lilacs the whole time. This painting is a little 8x10 on stretched canvas.
