About Me
- margaret aycock
- As a young person I lived all up and down the east coast and as an adult, settled in, of all places, Oklahoma. I tend to paint things that make me happy or remind me of times I felt very much at peace. Therefore many of my still life paintings center on having tea with friends or harvesting things from the garden. I love painting the garden as well. I paint portraits on a weekly basis. I have taught adult oil painting lessons for over 15 years now both privately and at the local college. I also do an artist residency at Kaiser Rehab in the arts in healing program and also with the Tulsa Arts and Humanities Council's Artists in the Schools program. I have two great musician/singer/songwriter,artist, sons. This doesn't look like Tulsa Margaret!! But a good departure for summer vacation! And it's sunny and dry! I can feel the rays in this one!
Maine in June was mostly wet and overcast. Gotta love the greys.
